How Basketheight Works: A Complete Beginner's Guide
New to Basketheight? Learn how points work, the three ways to earn, how levels and dailies help, and how to cash out your first $10.
Basketheight is a free rewards site where you earn points by playing short browser games, answering quick surveys and completing a few daily tasks. Points turn into PayPal cash or a digital gift card once you reach the minimum. It's meant to be a fun way to pick up small rewards in your spare time, not a replacement for a paycheck. This guide walks you through everything you need to know on day one.
Who can join and what it costs
Joining costs nothing and stays free. There are no subscriptions and no purchases inside the games, so there's nothing to buy and nothing to upgrade. A few simple rules apply:
- You must be 18 or older.
- Basketheight is open to adults 18 and over, one account per person.
- Each person can have one account.
When you sign up, we send a confirmation link to your email address. Click it early. You'll need a confirmed email before you can cash out, and if the message doesn't arrive, there's a Resend email button in your dashboard.
How points work
Everything on Basketheight is measured in points, and the conversion is simple: 1,000 points = $1. The minimum cash-out is 10,000 points, which equals $10.
Points come from three places:
- Games. Five in-house browser games, nothing to install. Each game has milestones that pay a set number of points the first time you reach them.
- Surveys. Twelve short on-site surveys. Each one can be completed once, and points are credited the moment you submit. Our surveys never ask for financial account numbers, ID numbers or passwords.
- Daily tasks. A check-in plus two play-based tasks that reset every day at midnight UTC.
Exploring the dashboard
Your dashboard is home base. It's split into tabs:
- Earn lists every available quest. Use the filters (All, Games, Surveys, Daily) to narrow the view.
- My offers shows the quests you've started or finished.
- Wallet shows your balance and is where you request a cash-out.
- Invite holds your personal invite link for the referral program.
- Help lets you open a support ticket.
- Account is where you change your password or delete your account.
Games and milestones
The five games are Block Bloom (a 2048-style merge puzzle), Reef Rush (a 60-second fishing game), Sky Stack (a timing-based stacker), Harvest Pairs (memory match) and Word Lantern (word unscramble). Each has three milestones, and each milestone pays once. Points are credited instantly when your run ends.
For example, in Block Bloom, growing a 128 bloom pays 300 points, a 512 bloom pays 1,200 points, and a 1024 bloom pays 3,500 points. Some milestones are about a single great run, while others add up across all your runs, so steady play counts too.

Daily tasks and levels
Daily tasks give you a reason to drop by each day:
- Daily check-in pays 50 points on day one and grows by 10 points per consecutive day, topping out at 110. Every seventh consecutive day adds a 1,000-point weekly streak bonus. You press a button to check in.
- Play a game today pays 100 points when you finish any run lasting 30 seconds or more.
- Game sampler pays 300 points when you finish 30+ second runs in three different games on the same day.
Your level is based on lifetime points earned. Rookie starts at 0, Player begins at 5,000 (+10%), Pro at 25,000 (+20%) and Legend at 75,000 (+30%). That bonus applies to daily-task rewards. The full breakdown is in our levels and streaks guide.
Your first cash-out
Once your balance reaches 10,000 points, open the Wallet tab. You can choose $10, $25, $50 or $100, as long as your balance covers it, and pick either PayPal or a digital gift card sent to an email address. Each request is reviewed by a person and is usually processed within 1–3 business days. Only one cash-out can be under review at a time. Our cash-out guide covers every step.
You can also invite friends with your link from the Invite tab. When a friend joins and earns their first 1,000 confirmed points from games or surveys, you get 1,000 points. See the referral guide for the fair-use rules.
