Privacy Policy

Who we are

Basketheight (“we”, “us”) operates basketheight.com, a free rewards site where members earn points by playing our browser games, answering surveys and completing daily tasks, and redeem them for PayPal payments or digital gift cards. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

How we use it

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising profiles.

Survey answers

Survey answers are linked to your account so that each survey can be completed only once. Results may be analysed in aggregate (for example, “40% of members play on Android”). We never publish individual answers or share them with anyone in a way that identifies you. Our surveys never ask for financial account numbers, government IDs or passwords.

Cookies

We use one essential session cookie to keep you signed in. It expires when you close your browser or log out. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Sharing

We share personal data only when needed to provide the service: with payment or gift-card providers to deliver a cash-out you requested (the payout email and amount), with our hosting and email providers who process data on our behalf, or when required by law or to protect our members from fraud.

How long we keep it

We keep account and activity data while your account is open. If you delete your account, we remove your email address, password, survey answers and game sessions and keep only anonymised ledger and payout records we are required to retain for accounting and fraud-prevention purposes.

Your choices and rights

You can change your password or delete your account at any time from Dashboard → Account. You can also ask us for a copy of your data, or to correct it, by emailing support@basketheight.com. Depending on where you live (for example, the EU and UK under the GDPR, or California under the CCPA), you may have additional rights, such as objecting to processing or lodging a complaint with your data protection authority; we honour these rights for all members.

Children

Basketheight is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if we learn we have, we delete the account.

Security

Passwords are hashed, sessions use HTTP-only cookies, and login attempts are rate-limited. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a unique password and tell us right away if you notice anything unusual.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in your dashboard.
