Levels, Daily Tasks and Check-In Streaks Explained

Game milestones and surveys each pay once, but daily tasks pay again every single day. Combined with your level bonus, they're the steadiest part of Basketheight. This guide explains how each piece works and how to build a short routine around them.

The three daily tasks

Daily tasks reset every day at midnight UTC. There are three of them:

• Daily check-in. Press the check-in button for 50 points on your first day. Each consecutive day adds 10 points, up to 110 points from day seven onward.
• Play a game today. Finish any game run lasting 30 seconds or more and you get 100 points.
• Game sampler. Finish 30+ second runs in three different games on the same day for 300 points.

The play tasks are credited automatically when you finish a qualifying run. The check-in is the only one that needs a button press, so it's also the easiest one to forget.

How check-in streaks add up

Your streak counts consecutive days you've checked in. The reward climbs by 10 points per day and caps at 110:

1. Day 1: 50 points
2. Day 2: 60 points
3. Day 3: 70 points
4. Day 4: 80 points
5. Day 5: 90 points
6. Day 6: 100 points
7. Day 7: 110 points, plus a 1,000-point weekly streak bonus

That first week totals 560 check-in points plus the 1,000 bonus, or 1,560 points before any level bonus. After that, each day pays 110 points, and every seventh consecutive day adds another 1,000-point bonus. So day 14, day 21 and so on each carry the bonus too.

There's one catch: missing a day resets your streak back to day one. Since the weekly bonus is the biggest single piece, keeping the streak alive matters more than any one day's check-in.

Understanding midnight UTC

The reset happens at midnight UTC, not midnight in your time zone. Depending on where you live, that can fall in the morning, afternoon or evening local time, so it's worth working out once when midnight UTC is for you.

This matters for streaks. If you usually check in late at night, your "day" on Basketheight may already have rolled over. Pick a regular time that sits comfortably inside one UTC day, such as your morning coffee, and stick with it.

Levels and the daily bonus

Your level is based on lifetime earned points, so it never goes down when you cash out. There are four levels:

• Rookie: 0 points, no bonus
• Player: 5,000 points, +10%
• Pro: 25,000 points, +20%
• Legend: 75,000 points, +30%

The bonus applies to daily-task rewards. As a hypothetical example, the 300-point game sampler would be worth 330 points at Player, 360 at Pro and 390 at Legend. A 110-point check-in would become 121, 132 or 143. These are small amounts on their own, but they repeat every day you play.

A simple daily routine

You don't need to spend long on Basketheight to cover your dailies. A routine like this works well:

1. Open your dashboard and press check in first, before anything else.
2. Switch the Earn tab filter to Daily to see what's left today.
3. Play one run of a game you enjoy, lasting at least 30 seconds.
4. Play 30+ second runs in two other games to complete the sampler.
5. If you have time left, chase a milestone or take a survey you haven't done.

To make the 30-second minimum easy, choose games where runs naturally last that long. A Reef Rush round lasts 60 seconds unless the timer runs out early from pufferfish, and a Block Bloom or Word Lantern run can easily stretch past 30 seconds if you play at a relaxed pace. In Block Bloom, use the "Finish run" button only once you're past the 30-second mark if you want the run to count.
