The Basketheight Referral Program: How Inviting Friends Works
How to share your Basketheight invite link, when the 1,000-point referral reward is credited, and the fair-use rules that keep it honest.
If you enjoy Basketheight, you can invite friends and earn a bonus when they get started. The program is simple and has a few clear rules. This guide explains how it works, when you get credited, and how to share your link in a way that's fair to everyone.
How the referral reward works
Each account has a personal invite link. Here's the whole process:
- You copy your invite link from Dashboard → Invite.
- A friend signs up for Basketheight using that link.
- Your friend earns their first 1,000 confirmed points from games or surveys.
- You receive 1,000 points, which is worth $1.
The reward is tied to your friend actually using the site. Signing up alone doesn't trigger it. They need to earn 1,000 points through real play or completed surveys first.
Why "confirmed points from games and surveys"?
The 1,000-point threshold counts points your friend earns from games and surveys. Those are the parts of Basketheight where someone is genuinely playing or answering questions.
For your friend, 1,000 points isn't hard to reach. For instance, in Block Bloom, growing a 128 bloom pays 300 points. In Sky Stack, stacking 10 blocks pays 300. A few surveys or a couple of milestones in different games would get most new players there. Each survey is short, can be completed once, and credits points instantly when submitted.
Who you can invite
Your friend needs to meet the same requirements as every member:
- They must be 18 or older.
- They must be 18 or older and use their own account.
- They can only have one account, so they must be new to Basketheight.
Basketheight is free, with no subscriptions and no purchases inside the games. That makes it an easy thing to recommend. Your friend never has to pay anything to join or play.
Fair-use rules
The referral program only works if referrals are real people joining because they want to. Two things are not allowed:
- Self-referrals. You can't use your own invite link to make a second account. Each person gets one account, full stop.
- Creating accounts for others. You can't sign someone up, or run an account on their behalf, to collect the reward. Every account should be created and used by the person it belongs to.
Every cash-out is reviewed manually, and game results are verified on our servers. Points earned by breaking these rules, including through self-referrals or fake accounts, are not returned if a cash-out is rejected. It's simply not worth the risk to an account you've built up honestly.
Sharing your link the right way
The best referrals come from people who'd actually enjoy the site. A few honest, low-pressure ideas:
- Share with friends who like casual games. If someone already plays word puzzles or merge games on their phone, Block Bloom or Word Lantern may appeal to them.
- Be clear about what it is. Basketheight is a fun way to earn small rewards, not a way to make a living. Setting the right expectations means your friends won't be disappointed.
- Mention the basics. It's free, 18+, and the minimum cash-out is $10 by PayPal or digital gift card.
- Skip the spam. Posting your link in unrelated places or sending it to strangers isn't a good look, and it rarely leads to people who stick around.
Tracking your referrals and getting help
You'll find your invite link under the Invite tab in your dashboard. Referral points are added to your balance alongside everything else, and they count toward your 10,000-point cash-out minimum like any other points. When you're ready to redeem, our cash-out guide walks you through it.
If you think a referral should have been credited but wasn't, open a ticket under Dashboard → Help. Replies appear there and by email. You can also reach the team at support@basketheight.com.
Ready to try it?
Open the Invite tab in your dashboard, copy your link, and share it with a friend who'd enjoy a few quick games. Want to brush up on the basics first? Read the FAQ.
